Lockheed Martin Electrical / Digital Board Design Engineer in Owego, New York
Description: Lockheed Martin is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer in Owego, NY. Responsibilities include:
-Performing Hardware Board design activities for various programs and IRAD projects
-Design and develops Printed Circuit Boards
-Generates documents using tools for schematic
-The designs are dense, high-speed, multi-layer boards.
-Working with Hardware Engineering Team to complete Hardware Development
-Understand and develop with the engineering team on material selection, impedance calculations, high speed design, cross talk limits, differential pairs, PCB stack-ups, PCB via structures, etc. during the design phase, and generate and perform reviews on the artwork and drawings once the design is ready for fabrication and assembly.
-Interface with Mechanical engineers, Suppliers, Component Engineering, Program Managers and Project team members as needed to develop cost effective high quality design.
-Supporting IPT teams, EPM and Program Office staff to meet all customer objectives and program milestones.
Lockheed Martin Owego provides Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering expertise for a wide variety of airborne platforms used by the Department of Defense and International military customers. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Digital Board Design experience.
3+ years of experience with Printed Circuit Board design
Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Knowledge of Zuken design tool
Digital Signal Processing knowledge
Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering Expertise
High density PCB design that includes Power, Digital, and Analog layouts
