Lockheed Martin Senior Program Manager in Owego, New York
Description: Program Manager responsible for the Indian Navy (IN) Multi-Role Helicopter (MRH) MH-60R Program. This is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program with the United States Navy/PMA-299 FMS and Domestic teams as the primary customer. This position is the primary customer interface and is required to coordinate with several USN and IN customers along with the internal Program Management team focused on IN MRH MH-60R execution, delivery and support. The Program Manager will be directly responsible for approximately $400M Development contract and will oversee the development and production of 24 MH-60R aircraft, along with the associated offset programs. Overall program value will be approximately $1.5B. Execution will start with FEA funding at Letter of Acceptance (LOA) signature in September 2019 with the total program period of performance executing through 2025. The program will require simultaneous execution and contract acquisition of the Development contract, coordination with a limited production contract (3 AC), generation of an Add/Delete proposal for the existing Variation in Quantity (VIQ) manufacturing contracts, coordination with the production of the remaining 21 AC, and tight coordination with the RMS and corporate offset organizations in the execution of the associated offset obligations. Program execution will require coordination of efforts across the Stratford, Owego, Troy, and Clearwater sites, as well as RMS and Corporate entities. Understanding of, and coordination with, the LM export compliance function will be required given the FMS end customer, the associated foreign sourced Buyer Nominated Equipment (BNE), and offset obligations in India. Coordination with Capture Management and Business Development will be required to ensure a cohesive country approach across this program and the Naval Multi-Role Helicopter (NMRH) and Naval Utility Helicopter (NUH) pursuits. The Program Manager will be required to report program status to senior RMS Leadership and must possess strong interpersonal skills given the diversity of Customers, Leadership, and Teammates involved. Candidates must be cognizant of both the business and cultural aspects of working in the South Asian region and be willing to effectively perform in this environment. Travel to India for key program reviews with the Indian Navy customer is required. The Program Manager is responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance as well as additional proposals when needed.
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
