Lockheed Martin Airworthiness Engineer in Palmdale, California
Description: Engineering and Technology Airworthiness Engineer responsible for coordination of uniform airworthiness processes across all programs and projects at the Lockheed Martin Palmdale facility.
Specific tasks include advising and training program airworthiness leads and support personnel; implementation and management of the Lockheed Martin Airworthiness Tool; provide airworthiness support to the ADP Chief Engineer’s office; liaison between the E&T Airworthiness organization and Palmdale programs; and identify and drive process improvements across Aeronautics.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and an interim Secret clearance to start.
Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
1. Experience demonstrating airworthiness to multiple airworthiness authorities.
2. Experience implementing Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, and/or System Safety principles and practices
3. Working familiarity of FAA airworthiness regulations
4. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
