Description: The Skunk Works is looking for world-class talent in mission systems engineering to join the 70 year tradition of creating advanced aircraft.
This position requires an Avionics system engineer to use their technical, program, and systems expertise to support the U2 program. As a subject matter expert, the candidate will define navigation specifications, navigation data interface with autopilot and avionics processing/displays, perform navigation performance analysis, system integration support and troubleshooting, technical oversight over the navigation system supplier, and perform aircraft navigation boresight procedures.
Candidate will perform technical analysis of related precision time distribution and troubleshooting.
• Must be a US Citizen. Position is located at a facility that requires special access.
•Selected applicant must have an Interim Secret Security Clearance.
-Bachelor or above Degree in a Engineering Discipline
-Experience with Avionics integration on one or more platforms
-Experience with inertial and Global Positioning System navigation systems technology
-Experience in design and development of Mission Systems
-Experience with data bus interfaces
-Kalman Filter analysis experience
-Demonstrated understanding of Ethernet data interface
-Test and verification experience
-Strong written and verbal communications skills
-Demonstrated data analysis experience
