Lockheed Martin Logistics Representative Staff/Advanced Programs in Palmdale, California
Description: Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Program is looking for a professional Logistics representative to join their historic Skunk Works Department.
Selected applicant will staff a logistics operations center and provide support for multiple programs operating at remote locations. The normal activities of this center will include but are not limited to; provisioning, database management, item management, order processing and closure. Ensures timely delivery of spares, and return of kits and field spares for repair or modification. Will work with field engineers, logistics procurement personnel and subcontractors with the objective of developing innovative pathways to ensure logistics and maintenance automated database systems are operational to include full database management functions. Will interface with other support organizations and maintain daily communications with all teams necessary to ensure requirements are supported in a timely and efficient manner. Provide hands on training to maintenance and logistics personnel on data management. Applicant will apply Reliability, Maintainability and System engineering principles, analysis and techniques to ensure full logistics support for various programs, develop forecasts related to equipment failure trends, ensure packaging and shipping activities are provided in accordance with contractual requirements, monitor and work within all budgets ensuring desired balance between availability of the system and funding is maintained, and generate Basis of Estimates (BOE) and Statements of Work (SOW) as required. Duties will also include direct interaction with customers to ensure multiple data sources are synchronized to meet customer expectations.
Proficiency in MS Office suite is a must as the successful candidate will need to prepare statistical reports and supply data. Must be innovative, self-motivated, proactive, diplomatic, and always utilize sound judgment and preserve a creditable relationship with the customer. Must have superior interpersonal and organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communications skills. Must work well under pressure and be capable of continuously managing multiple tasks.
Candidates must be willing to work extended shifts including holidays and weekends. Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
The applicant selected will be subjected to Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. This position will require an active Top Secret security clearance with a current SBI. The candidate must agree to and be eligible for a polygraph examination.

Desired Skills: - ALMS Experience
- SAP Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of procedures pertaining to aircraft maintenance, logistics and modification processes is desired.
- Extensive experience in developing forecasts related to equipment failure trends.
- Extensive computer skills experience using Microsoft Office (with emphasis on MS Excel or similar tools) and logistics management software.
- OPUS Experience
- Knowledge of Reliability and maintainability
- Database management
