Lockheed Martin Project Management & Planning Operations Representative Staff in Palmdale, California

Description: Role is responsible for hands-on management of projects, initiatives, and special assignments and involves all functions that support ADP Programs including coordinated support for internal business-related meetings, VIP briefings, and employee events.

Successful candidate will plan, prepare, coordinate, set-up and support meetings with non-customer executives, including Line of Business Reviews and Executive Leadership Team offsites. Will research, coordinate, and arrange for, as required, Communication and Facilities support to ensure successful business conduct. Position will assist in the visit planning process by coordinating detailed agendas and planning visit logistics such as scheduling conference rooms, coordinating with food vendors, and company staff. Position also supports the planning and executing of a wide variety of short-duration projects, some of which include planning, coordinating, and developing presentation materials, as well as proactively coordinating with briefers to meet firm deadlines and to ensure briefs are within acceptable presentation standards and time allotted. Successful candidate will support controlling, cataloging, and maintaining all briefing material including briefs approved for public release.

Successful candidate must be familiar with ADP and be able to establish strong working relationships with points of contact throughout the organization. Must be able to prioritize multiple assignments in a dynamic environment and ensure activities are well coordinated, executed, and completed on budget and schedule.

Typical projects and activities can include:

- Facilitating Company/Corporate VIP Visits and Business Meetings

- Coordinating Quarterly New Hire events.

- Maintain ADP Briefing and PIRA Briefing libraries

- Support Executive Tempo (may include weekends with in-week flex hours)

- Support external customer visits as available

Successful candidate will be well-rounded in diverse areas, have strong written and communication skills, and good problem-solving skills.

Required Skills:

- Experience coordinating meetings, events, or hosting visits

- Experience handling multiple, widely-varied assignments

- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

- Experience working with executive leadership

- Proficiency in MS Project and SharePoint

- Knowledgeable in using audio/visual equipment and appropriate conference room set-ups.

- Experience with LM database tools such as eFSR (Electronic Facility Service Request), DR Planning System, SESIDS Database (Security & Emergency Service Information Database System), etc.

- Experience with program/project management and program integration processes

- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
