This position is for an experienced Stress Analyst with Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works® Advanced Development Programs. The candidate will also be expected to use their technical expertise to develop structural analysis methods and perform structural analysis of advanced composite structures. The candidate will have advanced and thorough knowledge in the field of aircraft structural analysis and will have a broad knowledge of all related disciplines. This position will require the successful applicant to act as a technical leader for small work groups and as a mentor to junior engineers. The candidate will be responsible for leading groups responsible for preliminary and detailed analysis of aircraft structures, structural assemblies, participation in trade studies and coordination with Integrated Product Teams.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have an active secret clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years.***

Basic Qualifications:

--Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 10 years professional work experience.

--Experience working with program and or project management.

--Experience working with cross functional teams.

Desired Skills:

--Expert within Airframe Stress Analysis

--Expert with structural analysis hand calculation methods

--Expert with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

--Experience using LM Aero Common Analysis Tools including SLIM/Vision/IDAT

--Expert with ABAQUS

--Expert with MSC NASTRAN/PATRAN

--Fully versed in metallic and composite analysis

--Familiar with fatigue & fracture

--Familiarity with CATIA V5

--Understanding of drawing practices, material properties, and manufacturing processes

--Excellent writing and communication skills

--Leadership skills
