Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Sr in Palmdale, California
Description: This position is with the historic Skunk Works in Palmdale, CA. Known for some of the most advanced and groundbreaking aircraft ever produced, we continue to push the bounds of technology today.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience across the spectrum of systems engineering activities. Will generate, decompose, track and verify requirements, perform risk assessments, perform trade studies, write SOWs (statement of work) and supplier specifications, perform technical planning, and perform requirements verification. The candidate will provide integration and test support and work closely with program management to assure complete program integrity. The ideal candidate is an emerging leader and veteran in systems engineering, prepared to run portions of the effort and think creatively and individually.
Bachelor’s or above degree from an accredited college in a related technical, engineering and/or scientific discipline
Experience in Systems Engineering
Experience with requirements definition, tracking and/or verification
Experience in writing processes and procedures
Experience with DOORS
Strong Written; Verbal and interpersonal Communication Skills.
Experience developing a systems architecture and assorted artifacts
Experience dealing with vendors and subcontractors, overseeing contracted work
Active TS/SCI Clearance
