Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer - Technical Support Center Lead in Palmdale, California

Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Technical Support Center for a major ADP program. Primary responsibilities include providing reach-back support for post-production issues related to software, mission systems, mechanical and avionic systems and support equipment. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the development of service bulletins/temporary modifications, manage the over and above budget, coordinate the depot flow plan/schedule, administer the Deficiency Report process and author/update the Life-Cycle Sustainment Plan.

Candidate must have past experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with external and internal customers. Will interface daily with customers ranging from individual contributor to senior manager equivalents. Must be able to clearly communicate program goals/objectives, schedule, cost/budget, risks and options to execute in a dynamic environment.

The applicant will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the quarterly Sustainment Working Group meeting. This includes developing the agenda, briefing charts and ensuring action items are documented, tracked and worked to closure.

Up to 20% travel is required.

Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Selected applicant must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance

Strong communication skills

Experience with multiple platforms and end users

Experience with Version Description Documents


Experience working with or in a fast-paced Field Operations environment

Experience developing, tracking and reporting performance metrics

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Integrated Logistics Elements

Experience developing BOEs, ROMs and/or quotes for quick turn efforts

Experience with Microsoft Office, to include PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project

Top Secret Clearance with investigation in the last five years.
