Lockheed Martin Program Management Senior - Rotary Wing Aircraft Modification and Sustainment - Special Operations Forces in Richmond, Kentucky
The Program management Sr. position will be responsible for managing the successful execution of rotary wing aircraft modification and sustainment programs. The successful candidate will act as the primary customer contact for program activities such as: analysis and planning of work scope, leading program reviews for cost, schedule and performance. The program manager will develop and maintain program management plans, be accountable for financial commitments, define the objectives for the program team, facilitate program meetings, and manage program schedules. The resource will also assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
Basic Qualifications Demonstrate Full Spectrum Leader competencies Detailed understanding of Earned Value Management Experienced Risk Management skills Interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills Experience with MS Office suite Understanding and ability to develop Integrated Master Schedules required for program execution
Desired skills Familiarity with the SOF GLSS contract 3 years experience working aviation related programs with elements of engineering, manufacturing, and logistics requirements Strong team build skills and ability to foster customer intimacy Demonstrated ability to lead a team Experience with SOF programs Knowledge of the MH-6 aircraft and sub systems Business development skills: ability to develop and maintain required relationships with customers and the ability to work with the technical staff to match up requirements with capabilities
