Lockheed Martin Electrical Engineer Asc in Riviera Beach, Florida

Description: The engineer will be responsible for supporting design development through the release cycle. The position requires research, design, development, and testing of complex electrical designs, including documentation development, hands-on test and troubleshooting, and formal documentation of the electrical design. The work will be across disciplines during integration and test activities. This work will be in support of the Unmanned Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles business domain. The individual will be occasionally asked to work off-shift or weekends in support of implemetation of new designs in the vehicles.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.

-Ability communicate effectively

-Knowledge of analog and digital systems, power conversion, ground isolation methodologies

-Ability to apply electrical design principles to the complexities of the vehicles

-Flexibility to support scheduled and unscheduled weekend and off-shift hour

-Understand engineering change process

Desired Skills:

-Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electrically related problems, document testing processes and results in the appropriate problem reporting system

-Excellent communication skills to interface with peers, supervisors, and on-site customer personnel

-Experience with underwater vehicle development design
