Lockheed Martin Sr. Electrical Engineer in Riviera Beach, Florida
Description: The qualified candidate will join the Palm Beach Electrical Engineering team as an experienced Electrical Engineer for unmanned undersea vehicle systems. .This position requires expertise in selecting and designing Electronic IO assemblies that will be used in Underwater Unmanned Vehicles. This entails requirements review, component selection, creation of design packages, generation of test procedures. The engineer will be responsible for supporting the design development through the release cycle. The programs require broad electrical support, including issue resolution to distributed I/O architectures, RF systems, remote test station equipment and power distribution systems. Experienced with unmanned or remotely operated underwater vehicles desired.
Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
-strong electrical breadth in analog and digital systems, power conversion, ground isolation methodologies
-ability to apply electrical design principles to the complexities of underwater vehicles
-flexibility to support scheduled and unscheduled weekend and off-shift hour
•Ability to define tasks to meet requirements as defined by customer
•Experience with Pressure Tolerant Vehicle Designs, Instrumentation and Control, and development of energy architecture
•Power Management System, battery system design for autonomous
•Experience with LabVIEW scripting
-experience with underwater vehicle development design
•Extensive experience in the development, integration and testing of autonomous / robotic
