Description: Contingent upon contract award. The selected candidate will lead an Integrated Product Team focused on the successful completion of laboratory-based and offshore testing of autonomous undersea vehicles. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems related to undersea vehicles. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
The selected candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading integration and test of complex, large-scale systems and exhibit extraordinary leadership and organizational skills. Prior experience in working jointly with USG customers in execution of system testing. As Integrated Product Team Lead, the candidate will also have responsibility for cost, schedule and technical performance of the contract activity, and therefore must have demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) processes. The candidate will also be expected to support testing operations at various test facilities across the US, and be flexible to work off normal business hours as required to complete test operations.
Previous experience in undersea vehicle systems integration and test, autonomous systems, and associated mission operations.
