Lockheed Martin Configuration Management Analyst in Silverdale, Washington

Description: This position performs configuration management of the TRIDENT II submarine-launched ballistic missile. Audits, reviews, and verifies data from completed missile processing records and shop orders. Maintains data systems that record the processing and delivery of missiles and missile components. Coordinates the acquisition, control, maintenance, and retrieval for all processing and test data for missile and missile components. Supports performance of missile pedigree reviews. Performs Conformance Verification (CV) to support sale and transfer of missiles, missile components, and Fleet spares to the customer. Resolve variances, ensure closure, and perform re-verification to ensure completion of CV. Perform CV on Support Equipment (SE) to ensure that hardware configuration, as manufactured, is properly identified and in accordance with as-designed configurations. Coordinate implementation and input accomplishment of authorized alteration accomplishment for missile system hardware and support equipment into data systems. Works with the customer to ensure status of missiles and missile components is current.

Desired Skills: Experience developing common aligned training paths and training material, or improving organizational resilience via documented training

Five years of either SSBN, Tomahawk, Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) or equivalent weapon system

Experience with Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement

Demonstrated ability for implementing process improvements

Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System requirements

Working familiarity with SAP

Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques

Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint

Record Management per Program Directives

Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Minimum of 9 years of FBM experience

Active Secret security clearance

Procedural compliance

Ability to drive discipline and accountability

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Ability to work independently and without direct supervision

Excellent teaming skills; must interface with all levels of management, technical experts, and floor level personnel in a multi-organizational environment
