This Lockheed Martin-Space Systems Administrator (SA) position might be for you if you are interested in working on a KANBAN Team that provides Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support to a critical mission. You will be a part of the Dev/Ops Org and in this position will work a variety of hardware/systems, admin/network, system engineering, and infrastructure-based project engineering tasks. Trouble tickets, back-ups, patching and overall workstation/server health will be the main focus of the KANBAN. This position requires excellent cross-program coordination to professionally deploy and maintain operations. You will have shown experience supporting operational sites, resolving issues and proactively coordinating items/issues for solutioning before escalation. Communication is key for scrums to work through road blocks and resolve issues quickly.

Role overview: SA with strong knowledge of storage and server technologies; including general data center support and infrastructure. You will take developed concepts provided and implement solutions for a managed (physical and virtual) Windows/Linux based enterprise, storage and network enterprise systems. You will work with the engineering, development and infrastructure teams to configure the enterprise environment and COTS applications to support O&S and day-to-day ops (including problem resolution and investigation). You will work with other admins in the day-to-day operations, maintenance, data backup and configurations of a mix of enterprise and workstation level equipment running various operating systems in a mixed (physical and virtual) Windows and LINUX software operational environment, which includes classified and unclassified systems. You will be responsible for validating, verifying and installing system vulnerability patches to ensure security compliance in addition to developing and maintaining the standard operating instructions used to manage the enterprise baseline. Periodic "On Call" support may be required. You will also work new design/architecture tasking as part of system modernization development efforts as requested.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher

Experience with Windows Workstation 2007 or higher administration

Active DoD TS w/ current BI ability to obtain TS/SCI

Ability to support rotational on-call support

Must have or obtain DOD 8570 Certification within 6 months of start.

Desired Skills:

Experience working in Dev/Ops: flexibility to support new design/architecture tasking as part of system modernization development efforts as requested a plus

Cloud Computing interest/experience (architecture, design, certification, deployment, maintenance)

Understanding of Agile methodology and working in KANBAN teams

Experience with IAVA/security patch management, VM Ware and V-Sphere

Familiar with other disciplines (e.g., IP networking, SAN and NAS storage systems, etc.)

Knowledge of the following COTS/FOSS Technologies:
