Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer Sr in Stratford, Connecticut

Description: This is a position for a Manufacturing Engineer working in the Assembly Flight Operations (AFO) Engineering group. Primary responsibility will be to support on-site technical issues with the Black Hawk, Naval Hawk, 53K & CRH product line with a concentration in component installation and acceptance testing of the equipment in the aircraft. Responsibilities of this position include Process Design, Work Instruction Planning, and Manufacturing Support of component Installations. Candidates must be proficient in evaluating designs for producibility, developing tooling and manufacturing plans for components, assemblies and installations

Basic Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities and excellent written and verbal communications skills. The candidate must be able to communicate with design engineering, operations, quality, and programs, and will work as a liaison between all organizations, both internal and external.. Candidate should be proficient in interpreting installation drawings, and engineering bill of materials, and also be familiar with Catia and all Microsoft applications
