Lockheed Martin Program Management Rotation Program (PMRP) in Stratford, Connecticut
Description: The Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) Line of Business (LOB) of Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking talented, highly motivated individuals for the Program Management Rotation Program (PMRP).This program is designed to provide a broad view of the SAC LOB through diversified work experience, targeted training, and exposure to the Program Management discipline at both SAC and RMS. PMRP Associates will rotate through multiple Sikorsky market segments over a 24-month period via three eight-month assignments and will follow a structured development plan that is comprised of classroom sessions, self-study, Senior Leadership Team events, and other team-building opportunities.
PMRP Associates will be given challenging assignments across a broad range of functions across the enterprise. Available rotations may include but are not limited to, Financial Control, Business Acquisition, Operations, Program Planning & Control (PP&C), and Control Account Management (CAM). Upon successful completion of the Program, employees may be considered for roles including:
- Project Manager
- Deputy Program Manager
- Program Manager
- Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead
- Operations Manager
- Program Finance Manager
- Program Planning & Scheduling Manager
-BS in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of applicable experience
-MS in Engineering, Finance or equivalent with 3+ years of applicable experience
-Must possess the ability to communicate with all levels of management, customers and suppliers
-Successful candidates will be independent self-starters with experience in project management having demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially under pressure
-Ability to prioritize & manage customer and internal direction to maximize productivity
-Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including proficiency in Excel, Power point, and MS Project
-The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable working in cross functional teams and communicating across all levels within the organization
-Must be able to successfully manage competing, and constantly changing priorities
-PMI certification and experience with Primavera, SAP, Cobra, and Winsight is a plus
