Description: The job of Overhaul and Repair (O&R) Proposal Manager for the USGBO Aftermarket consists of managing major proposal efforts from receipt of Request For Proposal (RFP) to Submittal of DFAR compliant proposals and then to award. The primary customer will be the United States Government (USG) Maritime, which would consist of, but not limited to the US Navy, US Marines, Presidential, US Coast Guard as well as occasional supporting the Army/Air Force proposals effort.. These proposals are above the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold of $2M. This position requires your ability to coordinate meetings with Supply Management, Pricing/Estimating, Contracts and Counsel, Engineering and USG Programs and review & approve O&R functional team inputs. You will also be required to track, update and host weekly status meetings with internal and external customers, where you will provide current and accurate statuses on submissions of proposals and award. Manage US Government and Direct Commercial Sale O&R proposal development efforts, as assigned, in accordance with current Sikorsky Policies/Procedure.

This position will focus on various Overhaul and Repair (O& R) proposals.

This unique position touches each part of the value stream from receipt of RFP to Award in the Aftermarket arena.

Willingness to participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and other duties that need to be addressed in the department is required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree Required (BA/BS)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Microsoft Office Suite experience

Desired Skills:

SAP Experience preferred.

Sikorsky/USG Contracts and Modifications experience preferred.

Experience with Overhaul and Repair is preferred

He or she will have the ability to interface with different departments within Sikorsky such, Demand & Asset Planning (DAP), purchasing, shipping, finance, contracts & counsel and programs with urgency
