Lockheed Martin Security Representative - Govt. Security in Stratford, Connecticut
Responsibilities for this position require demonstrated familiarity and application of NISPOM, (DoD 5220.22.M) which mandates the baseline Industrial Security requirements for Contractors, Classified Storage Containers and locking devices in the workplace, Classified Document Control, Communications Security Administration, Security Clearance Processing, JPAS and Classified Visit Requests.
The preferred candidate will also have demonstrable knowledge and application of Contract Security Administration, including security requirements for Government programs and contracts.
The position will be responsible for identifying and processing all classified documents that arrive at Sikorsky including properly marking, storing, securing and logging of information for all classified contracts. Provide oversight and assistance to the formulation and adherence of all personnel eligibility and access reports. Maintain the JPAS system for Government Security Compliance. Administer the security clearance processing for all Sikorsky personnel.
The position will also be required to maintain daily activities of an office environment (i.e. maintaining Security files, answer all incoming inquires including managing daily employees requests for classified visits and provide guidance in marking and protection of classified material to assure compliance with government regulations.
Oversee and administer the SWFT fingerprint system and SIMS system to insure all documents are properly in the system. Do periodic cross checks to insure SIMS and containers match. Administer the JPAS system to ensure that all cleared employees are properly in the system and changes or updates are made at the appropriate time.
Basic Qualifications Experience in Security Services field. Prior experience working in a classified environment. Must be fluent in Microsoft office suite products, be able to understand and react to rapidly changing business requirements. Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written.
Candidate needs to be a self-starter who is able to work in a high pressure environment while handling multiple assignments simultaneously. High energy, positive attitude, and good interpersonal skills required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
Desired skills COMSEC / PERSEC experience a plus.
