Lockheed Martin Senior Systems Administrator in Stratford, Connecticut

This position is for a Multi-Function IT Programs Senior Administrtor working for Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise Business Services (EBS) Special Programs. The primary focus of the position will be Special Program IT systems and network administration on multiple air-gapped Windows and Linux isolated networks. Duties of this position will include: - Participate in the design and integrate IT solutions across physical and VM hardware. Integrate application solutions into RMF and JSIG frameworks and ensure IT systems meet required customer functional controls. - Lead and mentor team-members in administration, configuration, support and integration of all supported IT systems. - This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where quick ramp-up and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities is expected. - Multi-functional support for Windows Desktops and Windows and Linux Servers - Network support as required - STIG controls: System hardening and vulnerability remediation - Strong knowledge of data center processes, systems architecture and infrastructure. - Documenting and communicating the security standards, policies and solutions to allow for quicker and easier adoption. - Assist with RMF standardization and sustainment across multiple programs and communicate implementation strategies to stakeholders and senior management

Basic Qualifications Final Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years. Ability to obtain and hold Special Access Program (SAP) access. Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in information technology or cybersecurity support, including: - Securing Windows Servers with a variety of roles (IIS, Hyper-V, Citrix, Domain Controllers, File-Servers, Application and Database Servers). - Implementing solutions for risks pertaining to malware, data encryption, data loss prevention, operating systems, access rights/admin privileges. - An understanding of modern operating systems, device and application exploits malware and risks. - Ability to juggle the demands of multiple diverse customers while formulating & complying with Windows and Linux RMF security guidance - Work well with other members of the team to create a secure, consistent Windows environment across multiple standalone program environments. - Continued eligibility for this position requires candidate to maintain, at a minimum, a Secret security clearance.

Desired skills - RMF/JSIG implementation or support experience - Experience hardening Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2016 - Experience with Microsoft Office - Experience reading and applying Windows STIG controls - Experience or familiarity with Hyper-V, VMware, MDT, Firewalls, Switches, Citrix - Windows 7 or Windows 10 desktop configuration/administration experience - Understanding of the application and use of Trusted Platform Modules - Security+, CCNA, CISSP, CISM or other recognized DoDI 8500.01 certification - Proven effective written and verbal communication skills - Proven ability to independently identify and problem solve issues with minimal direction from leadership
