Become a member of a team of technologists focused on solving physics and engineering problems through application of your experience in the design, analysis, modeling, simulation, and laboratory measurements of complex systems and sensors, applying optical, electro-optical, and electromagnetic technologies. Apply fundamental math and physics knowledge to construct analyzable equations to support numerical simulations, perform error analysis, and complex data reduction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with operating a Linux/Unix environment

• Experience with MATLAB, C++, UNIX .

• Experience with MS Office

• Ability to communicate and write technical content (reports and customer presentations)

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a clearance

Top Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Masters or PhD in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or a closely related field combined with relevant work experience

• Experience with STK, IDL, Python, and UNIX scripts (e.g., sh, csh, ksh, awk, sed)

Demonstrated ability to develop software tools from equations to provide analytic understanding of physical problems through numerical simulations, error analysis, etc.

• Support empirical evaluations including laboratory data collection and complex data reduction
