IAM Hourly represented employees who currently work at the main (Sunnyvale/Palo Alto) unit, Santa Cruz, VAFB or Eastern Range facilities must apply to open requisitions on Brass Ring to be considered for the position.

This position is for the FBM Stockroom in Sunnyvale and supports the receipt, induction, and issuing of inventory for manufacturing, supplier, and also Government Owned Equipment (GOE) and related non-production hardware for engineering investigation, in-house or supplier repair, or placement in stores. Provide stockroom and shipping support for GOE and other programs. Process and handle GOE and related items for storage.

Process electrical/mechanical hardware and support equipment inducted into the repair cycle in accordance with operational procedures and documentation. Perform visual verification of, and identification and damage check on incoming materiel, and create a receipt record in the receiving tracking system.

Investigate documentation discrepancies utilizing reference documents, system data bases, and operation procedures. Provide correction by supplying missing data elements, reconciling inaccurate data, and preparing appropriate discrepancy documents. Ensure orders for in-house or supplier repair conform to applicable documentation and are complete and accurate prior to presentation to customer for approval.

Maintain computer updates as materiel passes through various milestones. Perform liaison between interfacing organizations and the customer to resolve related documentation discrepancies.

Process material designated for stores in accordance with appropriate operational procedures and documentation. Operate tactical allowance storeroom for materiel replenishment action, requisition shortages, receipt/issue to authorized activities, or disposal action. Maintain and rotate limited life item (LLI) materiel. Perform annual inventory audits utilizing bar code readers or other systems, and download data to inventory data base. Assist in reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.

Review packing methods and prepare appropriate documents. Ensure accuracy of documentation prior to presentation to customer for approval.

This position is a term position that ends in May of 2021 due to FBM Reshaping.

Basic Qualifications:

- Complete knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to apply appropriate procedures and documentation GOE and related non-production hardware

- Ability to obtain safety licenses required by law to operate materiel handling equipment such as Forklift and ESD Certifications

- Demonstrated ability to operate applicable receiving, shipping, and stores computer systems

- Clear understanding of Stock Room inventory Counts and Audit Procedures

Desired Skills:

- A minimum of 3 years experience in a related field

- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, governing receiving, shipping, verification, and storage of GOE and related non-production hardware

- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

- Works well within a team

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
