The Systems Engineer will be interacting, planning and coordinating with multiple discipline engineering teams, including the Government customer, for technical issues. The Systems Engineer will be providing system level expertise on Protected Satellite communications; system level technical leadership over AEHF development, sustainment or new business Studies; and contributing to the development of a number of specifications (CONOPS, architecture, requirements, ICDs and integration plans) to support the procurement, development and integration of the SATCOM system.

Basic Qualifications - Military Space Communication systems or similar aerospace program - Systems Engineering/Integration and ability to work as part of a technical team - Technical Baseline Management, including authoring or updating Interface Control Documents (ICDs) or Specification Documents - Studies or Proposals (for example, writing a technical volume, drafting supporting technical documentation, etc.) - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent related work experience - US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a Secret security clearance

Desired skills - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management and peers - Understanding of RF Communications and Communication Systems - Ability to perform complex system trades and analysis - Technical leadership including planning, scheduling and execution - Presentation skills - Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
