Lockheed Martin Systems Integration Analyst Staff in Sunnyvale, California
Description: This Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise Business Services (EBS) position is for a staff level Systems Integration Network Analyst on the DV2 Data Solutions team. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret.
This position will support both the Enterprise and Space Systems Business Area teams.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Routine updates to network equipment
Major upgrades to network equipment
On-going maintenance and support of the Network Switches, Routers, Encryptors, Firewalls, WAN Optimizers, Multiplexers, UPS’s, Wireless Lan Controllers, Voice Gateways, Terminal Servers
Maintenance contract review/renewal for Extreme, Cisco, WAN Optimizers
Multi-vendor experience with Cisco, Extreme, Juniper, Brocade, Adtran, Netscreen, etc.
Server Room infrastructure support and planning – OpenStack, Software Defined Networking, Cloud, Virtual server environments
Perl Scripting to modify polling routines
API familiarity to customize reporting
Service Now – Manage incidents and change management approval.
Classified Infrastructure support – DoD and SCI
DNS (Infoblox) IP Addressing and subnetting
VoIP – Cisco Call Manager familiarity
Quality of Service (QoS) expertise
Campus design and solutions – develop network specifications to meet customer requirements.
Analyze network requirements and capacity - lead design and development activities. Consider alternatives to save costs.
Campus project support
Capital and expense planning
On-call support to Central Region locations
Vulnerability assessment and development of subsequent actions
Network Equipment Inventory Management
CiscoPrime, CA Spectrum, Wireshark experience
Detailed documentation of standard operating instructions
Detailed documentation of network drawings
Meeting facilitation, meeting agenda and detailed notes
Advanced network troubleshooting and fault isolation
Experience with network routing and switching protocols and configuration
DoD and SCI security standards
Provide technical leadership for the integration of network requirements, design, technology, and change.
Manage network transition and migration incorporating new technologies
Guide network development and implementation planning
Read and evaluate standards from other Service areas to provide input and comments
Common Process Lead – sharing standards and implementing across SSC sites.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher
Working knowledge of network architecture, engineering, design, implementation, and testing
Working knowledge of one or more programming languages
Working knowledge of one or more automation toolsets
Working knowledge of basic Linux system administration
Working knowledge of IPv6
Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal business partners
Proven ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements
Proven ability to communicate effectively with others across the IT Stack, internally and with external partners
Experience in multiple areas within the IT Stack is preferred
Dedicated life-long learner
Ability to self-direct and lead small collaboration teams
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field
Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE)
Knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to work virtually, and communicate complex ideas using collaboration tools
Experience with Riverbed (OPNET) tools
Experience with Quality of Service
Experience with Multicast
Experience with other Network Management tools and applications (ex: Splunk, CA Performance Suite, CA Spectrum, MRTG/RRD, etc.)
Proficient with MS Office
Project Management skills
Strong understanding of operating systems, applications, networks, and moderate to high level software and hardware troubleshooting skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to document solutions and present ideas to cross-functional teams
Ability to conceptualize holistic application and networking problems relating to complex infrastructure and datacenter designs
