Lockheed Martin Program Quality Engineer V in Titusville, Florida
Description: This position is for a Quality Engineering Professional to support implementation and successful execution for the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. The selected individual will be responsible for all aspects of Quality Performance across the entire program’s life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and life time support. It will require an in-depth understanding of the Program Quality tasks as they pertain to hardware, software, systems, suppliers/subcontractors, inspections and customer support. Must have overall knowledge of quality standards (i.e AS9100.). The QPM’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform detailed contract reviews and flow down contract QA requirements to QA team.
Define quality assurance staffing needs, quality skillsets needed (e.g. Hardware Quality Engineering, Software Quality Engineering, etc.) Coordinate resource allocation with quality assurance functional managers.
Work with cost account managers and program quality managers to establish quality assurance budget and cost commitments.
Ensure quality assurance plans (QAP), are documented, current and effectively implemented.
Ensure proper flow down and trace of requirements for the program life cycle.
Recommend influential program performance metrics & drive their implementation. Identify adverse trends.
Attend independent program review out brief (e.g. INAR, PAR) to gain visibility & understand identified risks, drive Ensure effective corrective actions. Action Item closure and drive RTG plans.
Articulate the customer's requirements, concerns, and expectations to the program team. Maintain the DCMA/Customer QA relationship
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.).
10 years of project experience in a previous position/s
10 years working in an organization a Certified Quality Management System (i.e. ISO 9001, AS9100, TS16949)
14 years of experience, in manufacturing, automotive or quality assurance role.
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Operational Excellence
Black Belt Trained or Certified
