Lockheed Martin Information System Security Risk Analyst / Classified Cyber Security / Troy, AL in Troy, Alabama
Description: The successful candidate will provide information assurance support to Lockheed Martin-Missiles and Fire Control classified programs at the Troy, AL facility.
Major duties include Information Systems Security Officer as defined in the Joint Security Implementation Guide (JSIG) as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) directive, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and the Defense Security Services (DSS) Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM).
The candidate will have frequent interaction with Lockheed Martin program management and will be responsible for security solutions to support new or changing production requirements. The candidate will ensure all RMF continuous monitoring activities are performed on classified systems, install system patches, protect systems from virus threats, configure new classified computer systems, and document configuration changes. Duties also include information technology support for classified systems and networks. Additionally, the candidate must be able to effectively interface with numerous security agencies and customers, taking direction from the Information Systems Security Manager and management, and making decisions on how new technologies will impact security. Should be able to communicate effectively, have excellent organizational skills, solve technical problems, and be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Candidate will be responsible for system security, testing, and system accreditation activities. Candidate will play a key role in insider threat detection through the use of monitoring tools such as Splunk. Develop and implement government approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of multiple networked and standalone classified computers, and coordinate government agency approvals. Candidate will conduct self-inspections and will maintain minimum compliance with the JSIG/RMF, NISPOM, DAAPM, corporate directives, pertinent DoD Information Assurance (IA)/Cyber instructions and other government contractual security commitments.
Additional scope will include policy interpretation, ongoing guidance and direction to onsite personnel on Information System Security issues, leading Configuration Control boards and regular interaction with government customers.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01 IAT III compliant security certification such as CISSP within 6 months.
* Knowledge of supporting Information Assurance activities as a Systems Administrator
* Familiarity with Risk Management Framework and Certification & Accreditation processes
* Knowledge of configuring security settings on Windows computers.
* Experience with Windows products and a knowledge of UNIX operating systems
This position requires applicants to have a Final Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six years, the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET level security clearance and the ability to maintain access eligibility for Special Access Programs. This position may require an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.
- Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) experience
- Experience with Security Directives, Policies, Publications and Regulations.
- Familiarity with security technical implementation guides (STIGS) and associated system validation tools.
- Familiarity with Splunk software.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and fundamentals.
- Excellent communications skills
