Lockheed Martin Operations Technician in Tucson, Arizona
Description: Establish and maintain to USAF standards the various requirements to successfully operate a squadron of F-16s.
Skills and Experience: Similar to USAF Aviation Resource Management (1OC) career field.
• Highly proficient with USAF flying operations, airfield management, flight services, scheduling and other flying unit activities
• Competent with computer based tools
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and train others
• Able to interface and coordinate with multiple groups and levels
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to work with and train customers of different culture and backgrounds
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Candidate must be fully qualified in this career field. Candidate must have similar experience with documented qualifications. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting. Assignment location is in Tucson.
Site set-up activities may include but not limited to light to medium construction activities such as assembling shelving and furniture in all areas of the complex. Candidates must be willing and able to participate in all set-up activities, assist with receiving and storing supplies and support equipment. Environmental/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons. Site is a secure compound which team members will be confined to. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must.
*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
*SECURITY Clearance REQUIRED. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.*
- USAF 5 skill level or its equivalent, or 1 to 4 years of Defense Contracting or Military Flight Operations experience
1 to 4 years of documented experience with flight operation systems and processes
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Access)
Flight services, scheduling and other flying unit activities
Previous experience setting up maintenance work areas
