Description: Derco Aerospace, Inc., an industry-leading aerospace distributor of spares, components, and services, is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Business Development Strategic Partnerships Sr. Manager within our OEM Strategic Partners group. Qualified candidate will have specific focus on developing and growing aftermarket sales for the F16 fighter jet, and F100 engine system. Selected individual will be responsible for developing and growing both strategic partnerships within the supply chain, and growing F16 sales globally. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting professional holding extensive experience on the F16 aircraft or F100 engine system, with a high degree of technical understanding for both platforms. The position involves domestic travel and requires relocation to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Responsible for Orders and Sales supporting pre-defined F-16/F-100 accounts (Financial)

• Establish supply chain financial business cases toward the establishment of aftermarket support, and growth within this market place (Financial)

• Lead solutions-based sales campaigns globally (Financial)

• Engage and maintain strong industry relationships within the customer-base, as well as overall market-place, so that strong strategic relationships can develop. (Customer)

• Responsible for meeting the F-16/F-100 customer base (in country and at Derco) including travel; leading, coordinating and/or participating in customer visits, presentations, tours and airshows. (Customer)

• Track and monitor F-16/F-100 activity worldwide (Growth)

• Identify and assess opportunities, and communicating with internal stakeholders the appropriate and winning capture plans to grow F-16/F-100 business (Growth).

• Collaborative with internal stakeholders and key departments to provide a coordinated effort toward accounts.(Growth)

• US military service and/or equivalent business experience working with the F-16 / F-100 platforms.

• 3+ years’ experience in sales management

• 3+ years’ experience in direct or outside sales

• Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
