Lockheed Martin Business Development USG Sr. Capture Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description: Derco Aerospace, Inc., an industry-leading aerospace distributor of spares, components, and services, is seeking an innovative, experienced Business Development USG Sr. Capture Manager with a background in United States Government (USG) programs to join its Business Development Team. Successful candidate will work with a highly integrated team of sales and technical professionals in support of achieving logistic sales growth objectives with USG programs. The position will be directly responsible for developing the Derco value proposition toward Aircraft Logistic Solutions, and will demonstrate an ability to transition that development into executing winning proposal and capture efforts. The position will have visibility across the supply chain coordinating with both the OEM and Regional Sales Organization while developing, promoting and marketing the Derco aircraft logistic solutions worldwide. Additional responsibilities include researching and analyzing military aircraft market conditions both nationally and internationally in order to identify new military aircraft market opportunities. The position will also communicate the findings and assist in the development of marketing strategies to meet company, department, and individual objectives.

Both Domestic and International travel is required. Knowledge of depot operations and/or commercial/military maintenance programs a plus.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Capture Lead or Co-Contributor

• Win strategy and solution development

• Proposal management and development

• Logistics Subject-Matter-Expert (SME)

• Logistics Sales

• Liaison with customer, BD Sales, OEM Sales, Procurement, and Account Management

• Contract Negotiations

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the areas of logistics or capture/program management in the aviation industry, specifically in supporting products and services to the U.S. Government and/or foreign militaries.
